I picked up these “Robot Spirits” Gundam figures from the comic store the other day. I used to love Gundam action figures when I was younger. Not the model kits. Have to be clear. Action figures. I found the idea of painting the model kits intimidating, so I stuck to the action figures.

These guys however are far more elaborate for “action figures”. They’re crazy posable and have different hands for poses and stuff. The white one “Unicorn Gundam” has like 4 crazy guns and a fancy shield and a couple of beam sabres. So lots of accessories. The other one “buster Gundam” with the enormous gun came with a stand that was really cool to help display them. 

I feel like they will make their way to the office soon enough.

Also Oliver immediately knocked over the Buster Gundam after the photo was taken.

As you can see, Megatron is awesome. However, the reason you do not see Wheeljack is because one of his joints is screwed up. During his transformation, his legs turn inwards so they are facing forward. The mechanism that does this only allows a 90 degree turn so they don’t swivel all around. For some weird reason, my Wheeljack’s right leg goes 90 degrees in the wrong direction. So thats a bit of a bummer. There was still one left at the Wal-Mart, so I’ll just go and explain that he’s broken and exchange for the other one. 

Wow. Check out these amazing screenshots from the upcoming sequel game Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. Everyone looks so good. Grimlock, Shockwave, the whole gang. It is safe to say that I am very excited for this. 

The first one (War for Cybertron) was such a great game. Transformations were fluid, and they made sense. I never really felt forced to transform, it always felt natural. Story was great. I loved playing as both Autobots and Decepticons.

I have great faith in High Moon for this upcoming game.
