I’m really digging this cover to Supergirl #8. George Perez is obviously one of the greats when it comes to comic book art. What I love about this thought is the negative space of the Silver Banshee’s costume being used. It’s been done before, no doubt, but the colors and the shapes really give a cool sense.
I couldn’t turn down how good a price Supergirl was at my local comic store. Her, plus some new minimates, made for a splendid New Year’s Eve day.
Followed by watching Fast Five, some sushi, video games and now heading out to the dinner theatre for their NYE party.
Ooooo. This looks like it will be a good time. I liked this storyline. I wonder how the animated art will look. Its originally done by Michael Turner (RIP) and he has interesting style. I hope its awesome. My fave Darkseid is in it, so he better be awesome. Coming in September.
