DC is capitalizing on essentially just Batman when it comes to animated movies lately, and I think they should spread out the animated love. We saw a great animated short for The Spectre with Crisis on Two Earths. I feel like it really captured the weird sense of justice and macabre that goes hand in hand with The Spectre.
I think The Spectre could hold his own in an animated movie. Probably not his own show, but a movie he could rock. Showing more of the horror/magic side of DC.
Was skimming some web comics and saw an ad for Wonder Momo and decided to click on it and I got to this page. I thought the word poop was used very effectively.
I don’t know if the Tumblrsphere has heard much of Wordburglar, but he is fantastic rap artist and his knowledge of comics is astounding. Here is his most recent video “Drawings with Words”. See how many comic references you know.
I picked up Robert Kirkman and Jason Howard’s Astounding Wolf-Man and so far it’s been pretty great. I love how Kirkman has established a universe and tries to keep his characters knit within it. I also love werewolves and colour-coded books.
The DC Nation animated shorts have been really cool so far, but this one takes the cake. Its so visceral and energetic. They style is so cool, I love it.
As much as I think that Marvel needs to take a break from some of these universe engulfing stories, I think this will amazing. Mostly ridiculous. Stilll amazing. I’m a huge Punisher fan and I feel like not many people in the Marvel Universe actually like him. So it’s about time he shut them all up.

I’m pretty excited for this Garth Ennis Fury Max book thats coming out. I really love Nick Fury and any book that focuses on him is alright with me.
Really awesome webcomic I started reading today. Hilarious on many levels. Sometimes only one level. Even sometimes on no level. Always funny tho. Its best to start from the beginning because you can really see the artist improve over the course of the series.
